This little church was so understated on the outside but was rich in history and well worth the visit. The audio guide was included, it was good for a basic overview and you could tell that they were really proud of the church.

I didn't know a lot about the Cave Church before visiting it, but I am certainly glad I didn't miss out on this little gem. The history of the church is very interesting and the construction is also very impressive. We paid 600Huf to visit...More

Interesting place - sort of the last holdout for the Pauline order. Just reopened in 1989. Very inexpensive and entry price includes audio guide. While strolling through the caves and listening to the audioguide probably takes 15 minutes tops, it is worth a look if...More

Interested in religion, I was spoilt by places of worship to visit in Budapest. This one stood out as it had such a serene vibe about it. It's cheap to look around, and its a good pit-stop before going to Gellert Hill!

Amazing historical church. Wish it was less touristy but did enjoy being able to view it and learn the history behind the ancient church. A definite must see!

I thought this would be really cool inside but it wasn't. Small nooks and crannies with chairs and an Alter. Some neat wood carvings. But I won't go back or recommend it to friends who visit. It was cool temperature wise inside. So it was...More

The history of this church is amazing- it's a small church inlaid into the rock - it's not got all the glitz of the bigger churches but it's the one that has outlasted many attempts to close it and it's definitely the one that feels...More

Absolutely amazing place in the center of the city (very close to green bridge). Good to sit and contemplate in silence. Very friendly and helpful staff.
