When visiting Slovenia make sure you visit one of the amazing cave systems. Postojna caves makes for a great afternoon after visiting Predjama Castle in the morning. Make sure to take a warm jacket as it does get chilly!

Unesco, beautiful experience 120 m under the surface. Magnificent carsic world, good guides... very interesting for children, train ride, chambers like churches. 10 degrees centigrade. You need to wear warm clothes. Must see in Slovenia. I recommend it.

The cave is very stunning. The tour guide explains the origin of the cave clearly. You will have an exciting ride before the walking part. Impressive indeed! Remember to go on time as you can’t walk alone. I will definitely go again!

the caves are served by a train, which take visitors about 2km into the caves, then you walk. Yes the stalactites and stalagmites are awesome but the guide we had, rushed through leaving several of the older people behind who missed her commentary. The formations...More
