A lot of this area of southern Europe is limestone with many cave networks sand more being found currently. This is the oldest and most established one. It is very extensive, accessed by train from the surface and very well constructed in terms of accessibility...More

Must see attraction in Slovenia, nice unique cave, it cost around 25 Euro, less walking, the biggest part of the cave will pass it with a small train, the temperature inside 4-6 degrees, parking cost 5 euros, lots of restaurants their.

This impressive cave may seem like a part of an amuzement park with the amount of visitors, the staff and the train that rides all day long. but after all, you ride kilometers inside the cave for more and maore halls and sights which cannot...More

Whenever you are in Slovenia make sure you visit this place. Its one of the craziest underground systems I've seen.

Don't miss this cave for anything other tourist site. Yes it's crowded but it's worth the wait and money. A train car takes you back into the cave. At first I thought this is really dumb but as the train started to go faster I...More

Wonderful, not to be missed. There were long lines when we arrived grouped by languages. You are taken on a short tram into the caves where the guided tour begins. The sites are spectacular. Even though there is a shortcut for those unable to walk...More

37 million visitors don't mistake. Well organized tour both on the train and the walking part. Might not be colorful as other caves, but certainly impressive and interesting one.

This is a well oiled tourist attraction. Trains take large groups deep into the caves where there are wide pathways with railings where you walk with your guide. The caves are massive and so you walk at various levels into different areas of the caves...More

Really great. After a short walk you board a "train" to the main cave system. The caves are very impressive, with all sorts of concretions. The guide is quite helpful (groups of about 30 people).

You may just turn up but it's always safer to prebook as there are many tour groups. We were lucky to arrive early and managed to get tickets.

We spent 1 hour and 30 minutes in the castle, where there we had a tour leader with us from the castle. And we spent another 2 hours in the cave, where we visited the first part of the cave using the train and then we walked... More
