This was a limestone cave on a grand scale but have seen the same formations, stalactites, stalagmites, curtains and pillars in caves elsewhere. It was beautiful but quite expensive at more than 25 euros to enter. I suppose this fee has to pay for all...More

Worth every minute. A small rail car ride of about 5 minutes takes you to the caves and you walk the rest of the way, enjoying stunning views of stalagmites and stalactites, as well as incredible rock formations. It takes over an hour to visit...More

It was amazing to take a train ride into the depth of the cave, feel the breeze and cool air, see the magnificent columns of rock formations of different colors! Kids enjoyed exploring the cave very much!

We thought this was the highlight of our one week holiday to Croatia and Slovenia! When you walk into the caves you go on a train into the caves and then leave the train to walk for around an hour. The audio guide gives you...More

Reading the reviews I was dreading this experience as many of them chided the commercial hive before the cave itself. I must say, I was surprised, it did not bother me at all, maybe because I had to wait an hour before we could enter...More

These caves are stunning! We started with a small rail trip inside the caves and then walked for over an hour before getting back on the rail to go back up and out. So much to see and each way you look you see absolutely...More

A must visit, not to be missed place when in Slovenia. A truly amazing Nature’s sculpture. Wished I was not held back by knee joints pains so I could have more time in certain places rather than continuously walking

If you have the time take the hiking experience that starts at 12:00 and goes through 3 different caves outside the main tourist attraction. Isn't hard to do and you will have an amazing guide that explains to you everything about this amazing place.

All superlatives are by no means exaggerated. A real nature wonder which you will take picture of it ,non stop. On the down side was a laconic brief given by the group guide ,which was overwhelmed by the group size. Don’t miss it !

These caves were amazing! We did not expect anything like this. Every formation was unique. Could not find a limit to taking pictures. Every one of them was beautiful. The train ride was excellent. Only bad part is the size of the crowd with one...More

You can see cave with children. Entrance of cave train wait for people and transfer passenger to middle of cave and then walking about 30 minuets and then come back with train. Passage for walking is safe.
