Stunning panoramic view from the top! Lots of stair climbing, stairs and steps are very narrow, but well worth the effort with views of the town and the Adriatic sea. Not suitable for wheelchair visitors - Free entrance.

Its a fair climb up to the walls and a lot of steps when you are there, but the reward is excellent views over the town and sea. It costs 2 Euro to enter onto the walls and after walking up from the town below...More

Went to the top of Piran town walls, you may see a very very beautiful sea view and old town view, it's so amazing.

The walk uphill is absolutely worth it. Walking on this historic segment of the city wall not only imparts a sense of history, but it also provides great views of the historic town. Reasonably priced and a must for visitors. By walking a little farther...More

Definitely worth the walk up you will have the best views and photos of the city from the walls. Opens from 8 am to dusk and the price to enter is 2 euros for adults. Up hill to get there and lots of stairs and...More

Really amazing views of Piran, only 2 euros per adult, kids (5 and 7 years old) loved it, some stairs offer a narrow space to get through (like you have to watch your head and bend a lot) but the kids loved that. It probably...More

Yes, this is on the top of a hill and there is some climbing up narrow stairs/steps and gaps to squeeze through. But the views and the €2 entry fee where worthwhile. You can see all of Piran and the surrounding coastline and countryside. Worth...More

The city walls of Piran are an absolutely must-see, when you are in Piran. An amazing view to the Piran peninsula, at good weather conditions to Croatia and Italy as well as up to the hills above Piran is priceless (visiting the walls costs 2€,...More

The Piran town walls really do over exceptional views over Piran and the Adriatic. It is a very pleasant walk up to the walls on top of that.

Just as you enter the old town streets, up from the bus station, this bakery had the best Burek I have ever had. It is worth stopping in for one. You will need a napkin for the flakes and some oil on the hands.

Whilst the walls seem a long way up when viewed from Tartini Square, the walk up is reasonably easy (steady rather than steep climb). It is a nominal 2 euros to enter and whilst not extensive in size, offers fabulous views of Piran and the...More

Basically you can. But I would not do it. When we were there it was always overcrowded with no free space. And you have to pay a fee for entering the town first. But if you really have to you may find your way around. Good... More
