When you get into Piran, the main city square is a must, plus it helps get you situated in the town. There are shops all around the square.

A beautiful central plaza with many fine restaurants and shops on all sides. The only public bathrooms I found were here behind the visitor office.

Nice square, was a train station long time ago. Try to learn about Tartini's life, it is amazing. Also some houses have funny stories.

There are a lot of attractions at night. Most of the cities festivals take place here. I would rather not eat here but near the sea, but its OK for cafés. I recommend to visit when the sun went down.

With an icecream on the benches on in one of the cafes this is a great place to people watch or admirethe architecture. Lost count of the number of pictures I took at different times of the day.
