Unlike the previous reviewer, my questions were answered, I got a map and the service provided was adequate as expected from such an office.

Two separate experiences, both agents nonchalant and having to pry info from them. Me: we are a bus tour from Piran Them: we don’t allow buses in Piran. Me: are their any tours from Piran to Italy Them: depends, what are you looking for. Me: can we take a bus from Piran to Trieste Them: yes Me: okay how does it work Them: where do you want to go Me: Trieste Them: yes there is a bus, but it’s not direct. Me: do you have a schedule Them: Yes Me: and….. Them: here is the schedule but it’s not direct Me: where do you get the bus Them: at the Piran bus station Me: um…..where is that Them: in Piran Me: where in Piran? Them: near the marina. Here is a map of Piran. Me: how much does it cost Them: maybe 11 euro Me: do you need exact change? Them: it would be better. Me: is there a ferry to Trieste Them:yes here is the schedule Me: it says it doesn’t go on Tuesdays, tomorrow is Tuesday Them: oh, then I guess they don’t go. Me: so beat way is by bus? Them: if you like, but it’s not direct. Ok, frustration. Not the best nor most helpful staff. Usually those visitor centre staff are enthusiastic and full of info and trip over themselves to help you and to provide info. . In Piran - not so much!! Do your own research, don’t rely on them.
