Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a wonderful small hotel to use as a base when exploring the coast of Slovenia. We stayed in the attic apartment which overlooked Tartini Square so you can't get much closer to town center. The free parking was wonderful since parking in this area is in short supply. The room was comfortable and clean and the owner was extremely helpful in sorting out an issue we had with our rental car. I would definitely rate this place as one of the best in the area.

We stayed for 2 nights in the loft room of this beautiful house. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The house is in a fantastic location - right on the square in Piran The owners, Gorazd and his wife could not have been more friendly and helpful and as another reviewer said, it's like staying with friends.
We arrived in a hire car and parking in Piran is not allowed, except for 15 mins in order to unload your luggage. Gorazd supplied us with a car park pass (free of charge) so that we could park just outside Piran in an underground car park. We then took the free shuttle bus back into Piran. When we left Piran, Gorazd arranged for us and our luggage to be collected in an electric car which took us to back to the car park (again free of charge). Overall, a brilliant stay and a place that I would highly recommend.

You can't miss this unique building in the classic Venice Gothic architecture. It sits in the corner of the main square. Make sure you go inside if open.

The most beautifull venetian house in Piran - it used to be red colored for decades, but now is white so more difficult to recognize it from afar. The entrance is from the back street and there is no entrance fee. On the 1st floor you can admire and buy some Slovene cristal and champagne. Or just take a look and step on a picturesque balcony

Tucked at the second row of building at the Tartini square this house looks very beautiful.
The church tower looks right behind it, giving the impression the tower is rising from this small house.
it has 3 floors above the ground.
it is claimed that a Venetian girl lived here ...with her lover went the story.

I could hardly imagine a better place to stay in Piran. It's a beautiful venetian house with a fascinating history, placed right in the main square. The rooms are big, very clean and warm. But most of all Gorazd and his wife are amazing persons, they helped us in every possible way during our stay in Piran and it was more like staying with friends then with hoteliers. Their house is cheap, too, for what it offers. We were their first guests and we had a very good time in Piran thanks to the town, of course, but also because of our fantastic accomodation.

We could only see it from the outside but you could imagine Juliet being serenaded from the balcony.

Benečanka is beautiful house on a corner of Tartini Square. It had Gothic windows and red facade. After restoration the facade is not as good as before.
Story is telling that this was a house of beaty from Venice and her lover. You can buy some original sea salt in a shop downstairs. Visit of the house and Tartini Square is a must in Piran and Slovenian coast.

In the heart of Piran and overlooking a square (Tartini) full of life.
The house, furnished in Venetian style, is cozy and out of the classic tourism schemes. On the walls of the corridor and the rooms are hung many paintings as the owner ran, at the time, an art gallery,
