The botanical gardens are not worth the walk for the gardens. Though the river by there and the neighbourhood on the way back was interesting to see. Did not find the gardens themselves well organized and was unclear how to navigate. The flora itself was...More

We were very disappointed by the Botanical Gardens. The outside section is very small, and only of interest to the hard-core botanist. I admit that there is also a large greenhouse which we didn't enter, which is a good size, but this was unattractive on...More

This is not your typical botanical garden. There are more park areas than specimens. The whole park is not large. Tyhe rose garden is very small. The greenhouse is a highlight, but not on a hot humid day.

We walked there from the centre of the city and found very few signs to help us find it, though just enough to get to the general area (where we asked a local person). The area covered by the gardens is small and when we...More

Cute little park. Very very small. I.like it also because you can buy plants there, of herbs, flowers etc. It is most beautiful in spring when it is covered with charming flowers. It has a cafe and few parking places.

It's only a small garden and there's not a huge amount to see but it's free unless you pay (2.80 euro I think) to go into the glass houses. The small one isn't worth it but the big one has more plant life and an...More
