Must see in Slovenia
Beautiful lake, definitely worth visiting. There are several piers to walk on and we saw people swim in the lake. There are a few restaurants near and the village is a 20 min walk. You can easily walk around the lake.

Very scenic little lake
We stopped here to stretch our legs on a day of driving and exploring through the Julian Alps. We parked our car and walked around for about 10 minutes. It's very scenic, with an imposing backdrop of spiky mountaintops. We didn't stay long, but it was a nice pit stop and a beautiful spot.

Lovely Cristal water
Beautiful place to relax and appreciate the clear Cristal water, ideal for single people or families…. You have a car park around the lake not sure if you can take local transport I drive to this place. You have restaurants and coffee shops around the lake to enjoy a nice day out

Loved that place!
The scenery was magnificent with the mountains in the background and the lake in the middle. Half of the lake was frozen and so beautiful making the scenery even more magical. We walked around, took some great photos and we even saw locals taking ice baths which is a tradition in this area.

Pretty lake
Very pretty lake! The views of the mountains are really nice. We went on a hot day and a lot of people were out and about. Not too busy though. We were here 30 minutes or so. Parking can be tough, but we found a free spot across, so it was just a fun stop on a long drive we took.

You must see it

Sept 2020

This place with the little lake is really beautiful: nature and view on the mountains Julijske Alpe.

It is near Kranjska Gora vilage. Nice footpath.

There are place for swimming (water is celan, but cold :-), sunbathe, dring, eat or just a walk arund the lake.

Almost always ih there a lot of people : - ( , specialy between weekend. You can get a little problem with parking.

Recommended.

Breathtaking!

Lake Jasna is well worth a stop. I knew it looked great in photos I had seen online but the beauty seeing it in person was stunning, especially on a beautiful day with clear blue sky. We enjoyed a walk round the lake and then had lunch at Jasna Alpska restaurant. The burgers were delicious, as were the smoothies. Parking cost us Eur 5 for 2 hours but the stop was well worth it.

Loved that place!

Lovely Cristal water

Emerald jewel of Kranjska Gora

While in Kranjska Gora we always visit lake Jasna. Whether it is the summer or winter the place is fantastic. The water is crystal clear (too cold to swim in though) and the view of the surrounding area is amazing. While there don't forget to take a picture with the iconic statue of Capricorn!

Really amazing nature, clean water.

There are many little gems in Slovenia, like this one. It's a small lake but in an incredible location, surrounded by mountains. There is a bar next to it, but plenty of places around the lake where you can unwind. The water is crystal clear so you can also go for a swim if you don't mind cold water.

Glorious place.

Gorgeous lake to visit.
We circumnavigated most of it in way less than an hour with many stops for photos and gazing through the clear water to spy fish.
Found a bench and soaked up the beauty with the alpine mountains in the background.

Pretty lake

Beautiful Place

My wife and I walked around this breath taking lake in the winter. It was a beautiful place that I would recommend to anyone visiting Kranjska Gora. Finish off the trip by having a drink at one of the lakeside cafes.
