Obviously copying the monument in Chamonix to the first Mont Blanc summiter this is located in a little park less than 1 minute from the bus stop at the end of Lake Bohinj. On a nice day you get a reasonable view of their summit...More

It’s appropriate that when standing and viewing the statue from its front that the peak they climbed is right over their collective shoulders. Nice planning on someone‘s part. And there’s a bonus. Right on the other side of the mound on which the statue sits...More

I suppose had we known more Slovene history, we would appreciate the monument to a greater extent. WE did not.

This monument is close to the church and lake in a park like setting. A nice stop to see while walking around the church and lake.

Pleasure to see & view this monument, gives insight into this country & the people who worked & fought hard to keep it. Well worth a look.

Worth a 5 minute walk- by and a read of the inscription tablet. Not particularly awe-inspiring or dramatic.

The monument is located in a small park and is watching the Triglav mountain. On a clear day, it's easy to see how the men are looking at the mountain. The place is nice for a picnic by the river.

While waiting for the bus back to Bled after taking the boat across Lake Bohinj we walked across to the park containing the monument which was right alongside the main road. Views up to the mountains behind were impressive too.

A nice statue in Ribcev Laz looking in the direction of mount Triglav and is located in the very centre of the village. You will likely not miss it
