Nice uphill walk (approx. 560 steps) through woods and surrounded by nice view of nearby mountains. Quite beautiful waterfall at the end of the path is a good reward for climbing the steps. Parking is paid - EUR 4, entrance fee is EUR 3 for an adult.

Great view of waterfall but requires a hiking of more than 350 stairs. If you are not in good condition do not try to reach waterfall. In past visit of waterfall was free of charge but now you must buy tucket. T-ake with you water because you will be tirsty when you come near waterfall. It is only ecomended for... More

Requires a hiking of more than 300 stairs but worth the effort. The view to the mountains and the waterfall itself are great.

Very nice place but full of people. There is a busy atmosphere but it is really worthy. Clean air, very good in hot summer days.

I do not mind paying to see some spectacular waterfalls but Savica is far from spectacular. I guess its popularity owes much to its close proximity to a car park. Water levels were not very high but have seen much more impressive falls in Slovenia in the same week. Admittedly you may have to walk a little further than up... More

If you're in Bohinj with a few hours spare you may as well visit, but not the biggest or most spectacular falls on the planet. Having said that, the water levels were low and the larger right hand falls were not flowing at all, so YMMV. And it may be hard to be excited about waterfalls after having been to... More

We were staying at Ribcev Laz and took the enjoyable tourist boat trip across the lake before following the shady and gentle uphill path through the beech forest to the waterfall entry kiosk. (You can get there by bus or car on a separate road) We had local tourist passes (well worth the 10 Euros each for those staying in... More

We walked up to the waterfall from ribcev laz, was easy to find. €3 per adult to enter. It is a beautiful spot, yes there are many steps to climb, and yes sometimes there are lots of people there, but the waterfall is nice to see. If you don't mind paying the entry and then walking up to the actual... More
