We walked through town & up the wooded path which was much easier than the steps from the lake. Well worth the huff and puff. The views are spectacular and home made honey shop is great too. Took the steps down to the lake which...More

Worth the climb up to see the breath taking views from the top of the castle. I got some amazing shots from there and there is a really nice restaurant which I think is the 'expensive' restaurant of Slovenia but was standard for a British!...More

A definite visit is needed while at the lake. The view is amazing but it is a fairly steep walk up to the top if there are any walking issues.

You can drive up to the castle but I would think if you wanted to wander around it could be difficult as there are steps and it’s quite steep. I have a mobility scooter and couldn’t do it

It's worth the fee to see the view. I must remind you that there is a steep short way uphill to go to the viewing spot.
