This place appears like in a dream, so rare to be found across the globe. Cliff with castle, surrounding hills and mountains, they all play reflections in the spotless lake and it is very hard to describe how paradise this place look like, you have to see it. It also fine idea to climb to one of those hills surrounding... More

Walk around it, row across it, swim in it, just look at it with a beer in your hand from one of the many fine hostelries- whatever you do, VISIT LAKE BLED. It's stunning.

We got one of the gondola type boats, just had to wait 20mins or so to get more people on the boat before leaving. The weather was still and clear on the way there but coming back the rain started. We were very happy to get the sightseeing done early.

Insanely picturesque and photogenic. The walk around the lake is just stunning. Lots of coffee houses serving very good coffee and wonderful cream cakes. The walk to the castle is nowhere near as daunting is you might think. I might even go as far as to say it is easy! There are a number of places around the lake to... More

One of the places on my bucket list ticked off. After a long trip by bus we arrived in Bled late in the afternoon. Even a bit of drizzle could not dampen our spirits of us h a picture postcard lake. Definitely worth visiting

Stunning setting, over looked by the alps. A fascinating venue. The lake is crystal clear and so blue it doesn't look real. Just amazing

Visited here for the day after staying in Ljubljana. We hired a boat and rowed to the castle in the middle of the lake. Beautiful place
