It is very beautiful place. You can have a walk around the lake. It is i think more than 10 kms for sure. Lake is like mirror. There is a cable car ( 15 euro return, 11 euro one side).

Lake Bohinj was frozen around the edge and like a mirror when we visited in January. The whole area is pristine. A credit to the Slovenians who obviously take care of and great pride in their natural assets. Be sure to visit Stara Fuzina and...More

We took the 920am bus from Bled bus station for €3.60 each to Lake Bohinj. Great half hour bus journey through a few narrow roads and got dropped off on the east side of the lake. We then decided to walk the 10k to the...More

This place is simply beautiful. Less tourist-y and much calmer (at least at this time of the year). This lake is surrounded by magnificent mountains and the water is completely still and very clear. It is apparently 50 metres deep! Offers a great variety of...More

A sister lake, some 30 minutes drive from Lake Bled offers pretty much everything Bled offers - but less crowded, and in many cases more affordable. When Bled is overpopulated and boat rentals are impossible to get or you'd like to do some paragliding -...More

The lake is very clean, with green hues, surrounded by mountains. Very nice to swim in and enjoy a summer day. The area is less touristy than Lake Bled but provides tons of activities the family can enjoy. You can swim, bike around, kayak/canoe, rock...More
