This is tucked away in a residential district of Warsaw. Worth seeing and visiting. Gives you an idea of what the ghetto looked like and the size of it.

This wall is the remnant of the walls surrounding the Jewish getto during WWII. A very melancholy place reminding us of the holocaust

What an emotional reminder of the atrocities that happened in Poland. I was in awe by this and especially that it wasn't really all that long ago. A must see.

Difficult to see what was once a ghetto. Where thousands of people were killed. It is ironic that today, the remnant of the wall, is located in an area of buildings, malls and cafes. Really sad place.

I didn't know we were walking by the old Ghetto wall until I saw the plaque. It is an old brick wall that's tall and there is no way for light to get through. You can only imagine how depressing it was to have to live inside during it's golden days.

The area of the Warsaw ghetto doesn't seem to be very large in size yet it managed to house 400 000 plus Jews during WW2. It shows just how heartless and soulless the Nazis really were. It does feel very eerie when standing against the wall especially more so when the temperature outside is below 0 degrees C.

It is impossible to visit Warsaw and ignore its history, but the trouble is that so much of the city was bombed to bits by the Germans and then covered over with ugly concrete buildings by the Communists that there are very few authentic pre-war and wartime structures left. This little piece of what was once part of the Warsaw... More

According to maps and GPS area should be accessible Site location just across the street, the hotel where we stayed. We arrived to the area, but it was not possible to get close to the site itself, fences and gates, the area looked as if it had blocked under construction It is an important historical site, it should take care... Impossible to travel to Warsaw and not visit the remains of the former ghetto wall to pay tribute to those who perished during the German occupation. A place for reflection, for remembrance.
