Not far from the Old Town, stop in on the hour to watch the changing of the guard ceremony. In the center of a big spacious plaza, there is lots of room to view.

Behind there's a nice park where you can have a walk thru, the view it's good and there are some guards on the tomb that will not let you go very close, just go and give a minute of silence.

This memorial is part of a large city centre park and was manned by soldiers when we visited. It's a very well presented memorial to the fallen and lists all of the conflicts involving Polish soldiers. Well worth a look.

It seems that history matters in Poland, as in this place they respect their nameless, fallen soldiers. The place always guarded, and when we visited, there was a parade of citizens with the flags of Poland and the church. As a tourist, I really like the...More

There are those who like to visit, broadly understood, memorial places. If you are one of them, if you visit such memorials everywhere, then this is a definite go. If you are into history, this may be also a place to visit -- it is...More
