We were fortunate enough to watch the changing of the guard and felt very lucky. The park is also delightful and there's plenty to see. You can stroll around and people watch as we did. We're glad we didn't miss visiting.

We should remember Polish history and be polite in every kind of this word meaning. It's good to visit this place. It's situated in the center of town, very close to other historical monuments and peacefull parks.

This monument is in a beautiful area, right by the garden. Must stop and pay respect and take a moment of silence to honor those who died for Poland. It is a very modest and well done monument, guarded by two soldiers.

There are lovely gardens with water fountains and flowers behind this and it is just off the main street so is worth a visit- it does not take long.

Poland has suffered from many battles in ancient and especially more recent times during WWI and WWII. This clean, modest and well preserved monument combined with the military guard shows respect to the soldiers that gave their lifes. Change of guard is a nice experience.

If you are wandering around Saxon Park (which is very nice), the tomb of the unknown soldier is at one end. It is a somber place and with a variety of guards coming and going, you can see a changing of the guards without too...More

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a solemn salute to those who lost their lives while defending their nation and also other nations when required against external aggression.
