This statue is in a square that has the sun and planets embedded in the square to show how the sun is at the center. It's a nice tribute.

We ended up here quite by accident, on our way to the castle square. Very impressive, particularly enjoyed the planets sunk into the paving all round the statue.

It is one of the many monuments of Warsaw though it is very important one. It is in the old town and could be seen while walking.
