I would definitely recommend that you walk along Krakowskie Przedmiescie. It is the central street that leads to the large Castle Square in the Old Town, that I also recommend that you visit. Krakowskie Przedmiescie is filled with tourists and locals all day and evening. The Polish people have done an amazing job wonderfully reconstructing it after WW2. So many... More

A wide open space just along from the old town with excellent buildings, places to drink an eat. Charming buildings with excellent architecture. Great access by public transport.

This is a great Street to get you to the old town: lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. There are some beautiful old(-style) buildings.

A major street in Warsaw with lots to see new, historic and relevant to Poland. Lots of Cafes, the University, Old Town and a Palace along the route. Exercise by walking the entire route as we did today 3.15.17 the Doctor hit me with a helpful vote!

My favorite way to reach the city center is walking along the street. If you want, you can enter one of dozens cafes here, but anyway, after King's palace from the right side, you finish your trip with the prize - old city. To find the street from the Alea Jerusalemska very easy - at the crossroad with Krakowskie Przedmiescie... More

The Krakowskie Przedmiescie is the direct central street that leads to the large Castle Square in the Old Town, being filled with tourists and locals all day. The fact that is a beautiful and elegant street one can tell by the many reconstructed architectural buildings (including the Presidential Palace) and statues and as well for the nice lamp posts. A really beautiful street to walk down, with many different types of architecture and fancy buildings. Really wide and quiet from traffic (think it must be taxis and bus only).

The entrance to the Old Town, just a long winding street with a few shops and bars. It's nothing special, in my opinion. The Old Town itself is far more impressive.

One of the most picturesque parts of Warsaw. The buildings were rebuilt after WWII basing on old photographs. Many restaurants and cafes. A great place for a walk on a sunny day.
