The townsquare in Piotrkow is one of the older ones in Poland.
The square is well on its way to being totally renovated.
There are several restaurants around the square and you can gået a decent cup of coffee as well.
This area has undergone some renovation, but still looks tired. However there is a lot of history and the area has a lot of great restaurants, shops and cafes. Right now the main street is being renovated.
The old town has changed a lot thanks to EU funds. It's no longer a post-comunist nightmare, but a lively place with new pavements, monuments, renovated lights, facades of buildings. It's a nice 2-3 walk to see all the key attractions, grab a decent lunch...More
