I arrived at the museum at 5pm on a Friday. Unfortunately the museum had just closed even though the advertised closing time was 7.00 pm. Beware!

The layout is a bit confusing but the staff were helpful and the exhibits were very varied. Modern and vintage design and textiles were blended together to make for an interesting tour. On leaving the museum you can visit a street of old wooden Polish...More

The museum has been opened in a refurbished factory. The internal environment is modern and quite effective to present temporary exhibitions, whose quality depends on the specific exhibit. There is also a part dedicated to the permanent exhibition, including some machines, for which it is...More

Came to Łódź for a few days as a part of long weekend. One of our attentions was this Museum. First impression - amazing customer service in every room especially in the reception. Great exhibition of Dior and of course the textile factory itself.

I traveled to Lodz, from Warsaw, just to visit this museum, as I am a Tapestry artist. I was a bit frustrated, because the web site and sign said it opened at 9am, but it didn't open until noon. Perhaps lack of winter staff -...More

As a former textile employee, it was interesting to see the progression of machines and work practices through the years. It is a little off the beaten path, but a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Look for discounted tickets.

Compulsory place to visit in Łódź to feel our history. You can marvel at old historical buildings, mystery wardrobe-room hidden in one of them. You will feel like 100 years back in history of our city.
