Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This Eastern Orthodox cathedral in downtown Lodz shows the past affluence of the Polish city. The colorful dome is impressive and can be seen from a distance. Unfortunately it is currently under renovation and not open to public.

not many orthodox churches in Poland yet this is one of them. Situated on the edge of a small park just down from the main station, this quite church sits on its own quite unassumingly.

Amazing church, although I’m not sure if taking photos inside is permitted :P it’s located in the very centre of Lodz and despote being quite small it’s really beautiful. Admission is free.

The exterior of this small Orthodox Cathedral is picturesque and cheerful. The interior, on the other hand, whilst quite impressive, is dark and gloomy and not as uplifting as one might expect.

Very ornate for religious buildings in this city, certainly stands out in the environment it sits in. Unfortunately there are works going on around it which impedes access.

We passed by this cathedral when we went out of the modern train station. It is by the side of the road, and pretty from outside. We didn't go inside since it was Sunday.

Whilst in central Lodz we stopped by the Orthodox Saint Alexander Newski Cathedral. Marvelled at the exterior but found that it was unfortunately shut. The architecture is nothing like anything else round here, really amazing and worth a few photo's. Don't think you can get inside unless there is a service going on though.

Nothing to do with West Eurpean cathedrals. Even nothing to do with others in Poland like in Torun or Krakow. It doesn't worth to see it.
