If you've never been to any Jewish cemetery, you'll be surprised. It's completely different than Chirstian. But if you know what to expect, the history of WW2 and Litzmannstadt Ghetto will paralize you. In general, this place remains the same as it was in 1944....More

This cemetery is so old that you have a feeling that you walk through woods.I liked the atmosphere. Me and my friend walked on some less maintained paths and it's little bit like in jungle, even though there are signs with names of streets everywhere.

We visited this place because it's next to radagast and due to good reviews on TripAdvisor....but I wouldn't rate it as a great experience....not a comfortable walk if you are with a stroller and the cemetery gets repetitive after a while...we spent around 30-40 minutes...More

100.000 or more graves tell the story of the town of Lodz. Take your time to walk this abandoned area. And if your looking for the grave of a relative, the staff of the cementary can help you find it.

Didn't want to visit the Jewish Cemetery in Lodz but we were so glad that we did. It's extremely beautiful and serene yet its history makes it terribly haunting...

An outstanding marker of the former grand Jewish life in Lodz and of the gone golden days of the city. The Nazis have not been able to erase the cemetery despite their actions to try to erase the local Jewish life. Don't miss it !
