Located about 1 minute walk from the central square, the statue is convenient, and represent the scion of the Zamoyski family who founded the clan. Plan a 2 minute walk around.

You will find him everywhere - the name is connected with the city and with many places around here. Look at the monument and realise what one educated man did for this place. His family are still connected with Zamosc today

Statue of Jan Zamoyski, a founder of the town of Zamosc, is standing in front of the Zamoyski palace, close to the cathedral. He was also a founder of the academy and an active politician of the 15th century Polish kingdom.
