This town was laid out by a Polish nobleman following the Italian Renaissance model. There are lots of colorful building facades, an immense town hall and a huge open square.

We stayed two nights at the Mercure Hotel on the Square. It is much smaller than those in, say, Krakow, Warszawa or Poznan. But the buildings are old and interesting to see. The estaurants outdoors are good too
