Not many know that except of the beautiful church itself, there's an absolutely amazing view of the whole city from the top of its tower. The way upstairs is not easy because it has hundreds steep stairs, but it's totally worth the effort. A must...More

Only a pound to enter, excellent views over the city. I'm quite fit but even I found the 300 steps a bit of a leg ache. I would advise anyone with serious health issues, heels or heavy bags to stay in the square below and...More

When I knew I was visiting Wroclaw I knew I wanted to visit here, the views just look amazing. It only cost us 7z to go up, so it was relatively cheap. To go up there is a small stone spiral staircase to climb up,...More

A beautiful Church that is being refurbished. It is the tallest building in the Old Town which is impressive but it is when you enter that you find the glory of the Gothic and Renaissance altars

I climbed the 300 steps to the top of the tower of this church to experience the 360 degree views from the platform. The climb is not for the faint hearted but the views on a clear day are amazing.

We were surprised to see that this church was still open considering the amount of construction. It is an impressive church even with the work which is continuing both outside and inside.

This beautiful German Protestant church was made Catholic after World War II, when Poland was awarded Wroclaw (aka Breslau). This was under the Soviets, so a large image of the Virgin resembling a Russian icon was installed above the altar. Ironically, a chapel, an inscription,...More

The whole side of this red brick church including the tower was under scaffolding in mid-June. However, we were attracted to the gold plated statue of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in its courtyard - headless, armless, and kneeling. A bronze plaque noted his importance. He was an...More

Originally built in the 14th century, more than once extended and enlarged, this Catholic church became Lutheran when the Protestant Reformation spread in Poland in the 16th century and turned back to Catholicism only after World War II, after having suffered damages for the bombing....More

From the top of the church you can have the best view of the city. Only problem is climbing... or even going down from the top. Passage is narrow so it is not easy to pass someone on the stairs... and there is lots and...More

Lovely church. From the top you have a nice view over the city. It was under construction, when I was there. Took a picture.
