Much smaller than most camps I've visited but despite that it stills serves as a reminder of how cruel the human race is. The more camps you visit just confirms that it was not just one man or small group of men that carried out...More

A breathtaking museum. In the middle of the most beautiful scenery the biggest horror came to life. We went on a tour with Marta who was lovely and nice. Less crowded than other memorials. A must

Really well kept camp (I´ve seen Treblink, Birkenau, Stammlager, Neuengamme, Bergen-Belsen and Stutthof). Definitely worth at visit.

We went to Gross-Rosen on a warn day in late March 2017. The nature there is hauntingly beautiful, and it is hard to imagine all the horrors that happened there during the Second World War. The place is more than worth a visit. I would...More

Like to say nice place but it is not nice at all. Camp where so many - to many - people lost they life... Only for visitors who love history like we do. Expositions to see, many photographs, still good looking buildings and places where...More

To be able to go there, remember and say a silent 'Thank you' to those POW's both Men & Women who paid the ultimate sacrifice at the hands of 'Nazi Barbarians' was worth the effort, while hopefully they will never be forgotten.

At five in the evening we had this site pretty much to ourselves. Two main displays in multiple languages including English were well done. Small amount of rebuilding including watchtower (see photo) gallows and barracks hut help show what a mostly bare site must have...More

We travelled to this Memorial site by public transport as there were no tours operating from Wroclaw over that week because of low numbers, and normally a tour for two people people cost €140 plus and a taxi as much more. We got on the...More
