This mine is truly a different experience. You actually go through a real mine, you feel the drafts the miners feel, you breath the poor air the miners breath and the experience is unforgettable. The cold chills really makes you feel privileged that you don't need to work in these mines to sustain a family, that we can work in... More

If you have never previously visited a coal mine I would thoroughly recommend visiting Guido. I found it extremely interesting and our guide was very informative.

A very cool experience. We did the full tour. We had to change clothing to a full miner outfit. Includes boots, helmet, Headlamp and emergency safety oxygen supply. Approx 7 kilo. We went 350 meter underground by sometimes impassable corridors. A three hour tour by a miner who worked over 35 years in the coalmines. We got tasks as assembling/disassembling... More

Very good insight into mining history of the Śląsk region. Interesting and entertaining it's a great tour into hard lives of tough people that used to work here. Recommended.

I visited level 320, in AUgust 2016 with small child, age 7. The experience was very enjoyable, starting from going in the lift, then in the underground corridors, and listening to interesting storries and watching displays/ equipment from past times and more contemporary times. At the end of the visit, it is possible to visit a pub, however it shuts... More
