We stumbled upon this cathedral by chance and could not believe it is free to get in. One inside you are in awe with the magnitude of the building, the echos and the amazing detail in the ceiling way above. In a way there is...More

Worth a visit as the interior feels very different to the others with the dark painted walls and ceilings. Beautiful and free to get in.

Another of the great Polish brick churches, with conservation happening in the cloisters. Sit in the church to adjust to the light through a series of wonderful modern (c.1900 and later) stained glass windows, and almost overwhelming neo-gothic wall and ceiling painting.

Compared to other churches I visited in Krakow, I like it more because of its colorful ceilings, walls and windows( stained glass). The color schemes used reminded me of middle eastern churches or temples. I said my prayers then took pictures of this beautiful church.

The church is completely painted with Nouvelle vogue motifs and frescos, and any corner is a surprise. Although we knew about that, we got astonished. You should enter by the side, once in the navy, just turn on the right to the big stained glass...More

On their website they do list the first mass time as 6am on weekdays and 6:30am on Sundays. Last mass is at 7pm, so I think you should be fine visiting in between those hours. You can still visit while mass is started as... More
