This old synagogue is now a museum describing the synagogue development and what happened during the war and afterwards.

This is an orthodox Jewish synagogue in the Kazimiera district of Krakow. It ranks with the most ancient places of worship in Europe. It contains a museum of Jewish history and traditions.
We did not get to venture inside, but we did learn a bit about the history of the synagogue itself, while on a Jewish Walking tour of Krakow. Would love to return and see the interior.

It was good to see the local people of Krakow and elsewhere in the world starting to contribute to this small museum at the side of the Old Synagogue. Some interesting exhibits - we found the personal stories particularly engaging. We were only there for...More
Such an informative and well laid out exhibition. Many old pictures and artifacts too all labelled and explained as to their use. We spend several hours here and small entrance fee was well worth it.
