We had our visit in 5, plus the guide, so we could look at things with some extra time. The history is very interesting, the old professors' rooms are small jewels. and the ambient is very appealing.

After having visited the inner courtyard and small garden ( free access), our curiosity was arisen to visit the inside. Unfortunately the guide could have been better ( monotonous, often hesitated what to tell and did not always find the appropriate words).

It's a beautiful courtyard in this university which is one of the oldest in Europe. Note that it is sometimes closed for visitor.

I would also recommend doing the guided tour in English, it was very informative and the cost was minimal - just over £2 (and half price for me as a senior).
