One of the old main entrances into the walled city of Krakow. This can be found next to the barbican and offers some amazing architecture. Very busy area as the street is a main through road to the square. Worth a few minutes of your...More

Some interesting things inside but really small. Not worth a stand alone visit, only if you're in the area to see Barbican or old town.
If you are walking around Old Town, you'll pass by this gate many times - in many ways, it's that one central identifier for tourists! Very historic as well. Good to go inside and look around.
Old city gates in the remaining portion of city walls to enter the Old Town. Nice to stop and hear the different musicians play --all different each time. Violin trios, folk music, all sorts and all good.
This gate kind of welcomes you to the main old town and prepares you for the main square in Krakow. It's a gorgeous historical design which is well maintained, and it is beautiful to pass by.
Easy entry to the city through this gate that connects to some ramparts. Pretty to see and a centerpiece as you walk the main drag of the city. Illuminated in the evening.
I tried to photograph this beautiful gate from all sides but it proved to be difficult with all the other buildings and trees nearby. There are steps leading up to the lookout point but I am not sure if one can get up there
