This is one of the 96 or so churches in Old Cracow. And for me, one of the most beautiful. The decor is unlike many other churches in Cracow, being much more restraint. You are not allowed to visit during the mass, but best to come and sit to listen to the congregation sings.

Krakow is not short on churches, and many are beautiful, but this monastery fascinated us with it's openness and lively bustle. Enjoyed being shown through by a local and chatted to a young monk who was busy helping with a young conference. Appreciated the lovely art in the corridors. This is very old and has a fascinating history.

This church is full of majesty, whether you are religious or not you cannot fail to be affected by the feel of this place of worship. Everywhere you look you will see splendour, the carvings and sculptures, flooring and ceilings are all breath taking. No expense was spared in the making of this building, the irony of which was not lost on us as... More

As we always visit the wonderful Beergallery Dominikanska we tend to take in a visit to this most beautiful of churches. DOMINICAN CHURCH ( KLASTOR OJCOW DOMINIKANOW ) is a fabulous church with a really imposing exterior that commands your attention. This is a pretty little church set back from St. Mary's Basilica but it is quite impressive and a good place to sit for a time of contemplation. There is no fee for visiting.

This baroque church was designed and completed in a relatively short period of time and illustrates a unitary coherent design concept. Baroque embellishments are typically exhuberent.

One of the largest cathedrals in Krakow. Outstanding architecture with long history. Worth a see while visiting Old Town.

While rather simple on the outside the inside of the Dominican Church is both pretty and prayerful. It's not on the tourist trail unless you like walking.

This was my favourite of all the churches we visited in Krakow. The church building itself is beautiful but it was the older attached building ( Dominican Monastery) which I found most interesting. Older grave slabs, numerous paintings, memorials, beautiful stained glass windows, so much to see. A very peaceful and quiet place to visit.
