The show exhibition is good if you like art where all people look alike, and you like to watch same people (from 19th century) in 5 paintings, in a same frickin' pose. Lady that sells ticket almost killed me with her eyes. I rate it with 2 starts just cuz i like the top view and one statue where lady... More

Called in here as an addition to visiting the cafe overlooking the square. Lots of interesting Polish art, but what struck me most was the amazing copies being painted by students around the gallery. How they managed to capture the essence of the paintings without being exact duplicates was superb. Just wish I could paint as well as the students,... More

This is a pretty nice museum with lots of Polish Art in the upstairs level of the Cloth Hall. There are great views of the Market Square. It's definitely worth a visit. Lots of important works of Polish art.

Housed upstairs in the cloth hall, the museum houses many interesting works of art. Stop for a beer in the second floor Cafe and watch the activities below in the market square.

Situated inside the Cloth Hall, the museum had a fantastic range of art work by Polish painters. The terrace and terrace cafe also have a stunning view over the main market square below. Wouldn't recommend for young kids but definitely worth a visit for adults.

Relatively small museum. Only 4 halls. It's great, because you will not get tired from the long exploration. And collections! Incredible! I could have watched and do nothing more. I have fallen in love with Polish Symbolism, Expressionism and Impressionism. Great pieces of works.

I know nothing about Polish art but generally love 19th century art so we came here as we had time. My bf was resistant (doesn't generally do anything post-medieval) but even her enjoyed it. As with all the sites in Krakow you get a story of how things (in this case, art) in the context of the city's history. Absolutely... More

An amazing jewel like collection of some stunning art! Only four rooms, each with a different theme but truly awe-inspiring. Fabulous opportunity to get really up close to master pieces (none are behind glass or barriers) to see the texture of the brush strokes. Some amazing monumental paintings too - massive And it's all FREE!!!

There are some artists in this museum which should be better known, and were they French, say, they'd be famous. The best rooms are the ones first to the left when you enter and then the one to the right. Allow about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
