Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The worst experience ever! They changed us the time from 10:00 am to 07:00 am. We said ok , no problem. We went there at 6:45 and we ended up to see the first part of the museum at 11:00 am (after 4 hours due to lack of organization). Then, we were waiting amother 1 hour to join to the 2nd part. The whole trip lasted 13 hours... nobody guided us and nobody didn't even say sorry for our inconvenience...I don't recommend this tour guide

Very poorly organized. We had a difficult time finding the tour operator as there was no sign indicating where we were to meet. Once at Auschwitz, we had a long line and overall the experience was adequate only.

We booked this tour, and we took the bus to Auschwitz with this organisation, when we got there we waited in queue for 2 hours just to learn that it was sold out and that we had to return to Krakau WITHOUT visiting Auschwitz and Birkenau. They did not buy the tickets in advance. Total lack of organisation.

Really disappointed with our trip to Auschwitz with this travel company. We spend 2 hours queuing for tickets to the museum at 8am to then be taken to the camp where we had to spend over 3 hours with no guide and we were given absolutely no information. We were given a guide book on the bus which we had return at the end of the day. We then were bussed back to the museum and were told we couldn’t enter until 4:15pm so we had to wait outside for another hour. We spend a lot of time hanging around, waiting and queuing throughout the day and so disappointed we didn’t realise any information about the history of Auschwitz. I wouldn’t recommend this travel company.

Even if the visit of the camps themselves are quite an emotional things to do, the whole day was well organized and the guide was really attentive to everyone (making sure that we understood everything, that we had a guidebook in our native language etc)

I just wish I could have stayed longer in both place to get to read and see everything but it's simply impossible as there's way too much.

We managed to book last minute, preferring a self-guided tour to the more organised option. Luckily we chose Pavel Travel!
Our guide, Marek, was fantastic. He shared his knowledge and looked after us (the group) so well, making sure we were on time.
He also helped several others who had missed their own tour bus. He was a brilliant shepherd!
The timing was perfect as we somehow managed to avoid any long queues.
The tour was in two sections. The first took us to Birkenau. Walking around with the guidebook (supplied to us) was an overwhelming experience. The site was quiet and most people were appropriately respectful. Eating and drinking were strictly prohibited on site but there were toilets and it was possible to buy refreshments just outside.
Auschwitz was even more overpowering with the various personal possessions of the prisoners displayed simply and effectively. A very moving experience. There were informative signs everywhere so we felt our choice of self guided tour was right. The weather was cold and drizzly which added to the ambiance. We would like to have spent longer as everything was fascinating. It is widely reported that no birds or animals are there; however we saw a huge hare near us, lots or corvids and even a small herd of deer at Birkenau.
It’s hard to find words to describe our experience but can’t recommend it highly enough.
On the return to Krakow our coach driver Pavel drove safely and managed to get us through the heavy traffic without delays. The coach was comfy and warm. The excursion was very fairly priced.
We will probably go again as there was a lot we missed or would like to see a second time but would definitely choose Pavel Travel again. They cater for many different languages.
Over all, a fantastic visit using an excellent company. Thank you particularly to Marek.

We had a very difficult time trying to obtain tickets elsewhere because we tried to book it the week we were in Poland. This place was a lifesaver. It was very detailed on how to get to the bus and had nice tour guides. Really enjoyed the trip.

Well organised. Meeting point communicated well. Auschwitz itself sad and sombre but a must do once in a lifetime.
If I have one small criticism our guide walks extremly fast! Was wearing all black and hard to keep up with🤔
