On an unassuming side street, this fragment remains. It does take an effort to find it if you go on your own, and you would probably not give it a second glance unless you were looking for it. But, there it is- a lasting symbol...More

This is the only remaining of the wall that the Nazis built around the Jewish ghetto they created in Krakow during World War II. Today it is hard to understand that people could 'wall in' 'parts of the population just for their religious or political...More

Is very moving. Should be seen as part of a tour of the old Jewish Quarter, the Ghetto, Pharmacy, memorial and Schindler’s factory.

Like other Ghetto walls in Eastern Europe, it’s interesting that the tops of the walls are in the shape of a Jewish headstone. Not so subtle mind games. Highly Recommended

Definitely worth a visit here as it is a preserved symbol of an important piece of history. The Ghetto Heroes Square is also worth a visit nearby here.

Visited here whilst visiting the Ghetto Heroes Square - about 5 mins walk away but slightly hidden. It was freezing cold and snowing and this only added to the sheer impact of what this represents. The wall is shaped like tombstones - I don’t think...More

Before our recent once in a lifetime visit to Krakow, I did my research on what I thought I really wanted to see while I was there, as I don't plan on revisiting Krakow any time soon. The Pogdorze Ghetto was a real place for...More

You stand before it and you cannot help feeling moved as you know it represents so much. Definitely worth seeing this small but well kept part of the original wall. A short walk from Oskar's factory and the Ghetto square. Thanks for the vote if...More
