Famous and well-known workers' quarter built especially for miners. Old brick, white windows, red ornaments and charming backyards. Ideal place for Sunday walk and lunch in Cafe Byfyj.

Definitely worthwhile to see. Traditional, Silesian part of the coal mining city. Beautiful buildings and the whole district. Nice church. Just great (!) restaurant and cafe over there. Must see if you are in Katowice.

It's a city specially build for local miner over hundred years ago. Miners families still live there cultivating their own habits. Good to visit during fest.
