The sand on the beach is soft, clean golden sand, we walked along in the winter sunlight, swans were swimming in the shallows and it was very beautiful. I'd like to come back in the summer.

Wide, long, sandy beach with restaurants, saunas and play ground for kids directly on it. Parents can watch their kids while sipping a drink on a hammock in the restautant also directly on the beach. Great place

From Sopot pier to the centre of Gdynia is about 6 miles, so it will depend on your walking pace ( between 2 to 2.5 hours ) By car it would take 12 minutes. The train is the easiest option .

Yes, a lot; plus large umbrellas. Sometimes, it is best to rent a spot and the equipment from one of the beach bar licensees and you can get service then. A bit like the Med. beaches, but not as expensive.
