Elegant square just a short stroll from the sea and pier. Beautifully clean with a sparkling fountain. Puts most English seaside offerings to shame.

This dominates as competitor to the pier. If you have the legs, just do it. And reflect on what this Sopot once was.

I did not climb the stairs for the views, so cannot say much about these. But the lighthouse is an outstanding building with a curious history (not a very long, too). I was surprised learning that not only the building is rather recent (beginning of...More

Worthwhile to climb up for the view. Only 5zl (around £1). Look across to Hel Peninsula and right towards Gdansk!

I need to admit I was a tiny bit disappointed. It looks just like an ordinary observation tower we have back at home except is positioned next to the beach. It's not...lighthousy enough. But the view is wonderful and the fee is tiny (I believe...More

The lighthouse is 42.5 m tall and was built in 1899-1903. Entrance fee is small (about 1.2 eur for adult and 0.7 eur for child) and after climbing some stairs you can enjoy beautiful views of Sopot. Plan a half hour visit.

The lighthouse building is very quaint and marks the end of Monte Cassino Street and the start of the construction leading to beautiful Sopot pier. You can take a trip to the top of the lighthouse for 5 Zloti (about £1 or $1.30 as of...More

I can't remember if it was free I think it may have been about 2 euros or some similar price. I won't have been more than 5 as I wouldn't have paid it!
