You don't get to see much places like this in Europe, especially not in the former East-block. It's charming and a walk on the pier takes about half an hour. It's a relaxing walk. No souvenir shops on the pier itself (only one small restaurant...More

I don't regret buying a ticket to go on to the pier but it's nothing compared to let's say st. monica pier.. Sure This one had a lot of fancy yahts to look at and also some tourist tours you could take for an additional...More

We were lucky it was a lovely sunny day when we visited and the best day in terms of weather in our stay in Gdańsk. It was windy walking along the pier but really enjoyable. Great views of the town and the harbour. Fab.

A well-maintained, large pier, with interesting things going on around it. There are always several boats and ships that can be looked at, and the last time we went, there was even a pirate-ship restaurant. The view is also really nice. Other than the sea,...More

Came to Sopot on the train from Gdansk ( SKM train , platform 3, Gdansk Glowny Station ) as we had heard how nice Sopot and the beach / pier were , and sure enough it lived up to expectations. It's the longest wooden pier...More

There is a small charge to access the pier/boardwalk but if you want to kill some time and get some freshair then this is for you. Walk out to a small marina with some nice boats, a bar/reataurant can sustain you if your reserves are...More

The Molo offers a beautiful view of the sea and Sopot. We enjoyed the lovely warm October sunshine strolling the pier with many others. You can sit and relax on one of the wooden benches or even take a Pirate Ship tide on the Sea....More

We had great weather, it was Sunday, there were dozens of Polish people enjoying the place and it was a very nice experience to be among them. The views are nice - sea, boats and human beings... and few swans and many sea gulls.

Great day out, probably spent an hour or so slowly walking the full pier and taking photos. Bit of rain crept in, storm rolled over the mountains, magnificent day out.

I was told that you have to pay to enter but it was free entrance at the beginning of October. This is the longest wooden pier in Europe. The weather was lovely and I had a really enjoyable walk.

I might be biased but I love Sopot Pier. Although it has changed a bit to create yacht port it is still beautiful and iconic. I cannot imagine visiting Sopot without a walk on the pier. It is particularly beautiful at night when you can...More

Sorry cant help with that one as we travelled by train. That said I think you can just park on the road side & then walk to the pier (an pedestrian area). I imagine there must be a car park at the train station too and that... More
