Nice long pier - free in winter!
Oct. 2021
Pier is the longest wooden pier in Europe. Leads on to the marina wall now but a nice long walk down and back with plenty of seating and buskers along the way. Restaurant and toilets at the end but looked a little pricey so that, combined with the fresh and chilly breeze that was blowing across the outdoor seating area deterred us from venturing in. There is an entry fee in summer but this ends in September for the winter so if you come out of season, you can enjoy the walk for free.

Nice

Nice made and rather long pier, you can enter for free out of season. Nice to walk and see the sea and birds. Some boats at the end and a area to sit and see the sunset.
Other then that not much more.

Pay for enter, and then pay more
Sep. 2021
It's a longest wooden pier in the Europe, that's fact. But it is really worth to spent 9 zł per person to simple go there. What's more I wanted to use service inside pier and still I had to pay as visitor and then as a customer. It's really expensive due to the fact that there is nothing to see and it's really crowdy there

What a wonderful place for peace and relaxation. Just walk out along the pier and experience the rest of the Baltic. Boats and birds make for a wonderful relaxing experience.

Longest Wooden Pier in Europe
Aug. 2021 • Couples
Took the train from Gdansk city centre to Sopot to walk the pier and visit the city. Lovely day on the pier with amazing views of the Baltic Sea and the Sopot beaches.

The Sopot pier is the longest wooden pier in Europe at 511m. There is a slight charge to enter, costing 8 zloty per person.

The city was crowded with visitors but the pier was not. Nice long walk to the end of the pier offering views of the beaches and once out on the pier, views of the Grand Hotel. Looks historic from afar.

The pier offers a few boat trips, one high speed and the other looking like a massive pirate ship.

Worth the 20 minute train ride from city centre which cost 8.20 zloty per person.

In the winter months entrance is free
Feb. 2020
I went in the winter month, so thankfully it was a free entrance for me. It's not spectacular or anything so no one should pay entrance. It's nothing more than just a pier. It does give a nice view of the beach and the city.

nice, but should be free
Oct. 2020
it's quite long, nice walk to admire the sea. normally it's on payment but in low season the access seems to be free (or it was just because of pandemic - I'm not sure)

Not sure why you should pay for this
Sep. 2020 • Solo
Ok, it’s a long pier... But after all it is just a pier in the water... Not much happening in the pier. And you have to buy a ticket. I don’t see the point!

Not worth anything special!! Sorry but Sopot has to do better if it wants to compete with the different Pier's in the world!!

Wooden Pier
Aug. 2020 • Solo
The largest wooden pier in Europe. Nice for a walk. A little bit too expensive to be fair. The toilets are 4pln on the pier. But views will compensate it.
