The Wolin Island and the Wolin National Park in particular are the best place to go on the Polish Balish coast. The landscapes are stunning, especially steep cliffs and sandy beaches. There are additional attractions such as the European Bison reserve or the Viking Village in the Wolin town.

The beach in Miedzyzdroje is really pleasant, as i the pier. In the autumn of 2005 I cam so close to wild boar, that they touched my hand, while they were eating acorn in the streets next to the forest. In the forest there is a small park with the most important wild animals living in Poland, interesting, but not... More

Desert dunes absolutely wonderful. Impressive site, awesome beaches. Of course not a site for swimming and relaxing bath, but really impressive for seeing and tasting the strength of Nature

Lovely walk in woodland. Piece, quiet and nature. It is a pity that you have to visit the National Park to see beautiful animals like zubr but at least they have chance not to extinct.

We went through the park on our bikes. This place is stunning. The forest, small lakes with swans and the Polish bison reserve was more then we expected.

Good walking paths make this park easily accessible for familys and elder people. It is a nice experience to stroll in the woods and to the lakes. Do not expect too much from the wisent enclosure.

In winter, the woods are quite bare but the beach stretches for many km and is walkable for at least five kilometres from Miedzyzdroje... we did not brave longer walks because it was so cold! On various points, you can climb some staris to viewpoints then walk through the woods which in winter is rather uninspiring to a small animal... More

This national park is quite large stretching from Miedzyzdroje in west to Miedzywodzie in the east. The park have several entrances and depends on where along the park borders you are coming. To experience the park in full I'd say you should make a day trip out of it. But it's also lovely for smaller trips. In the park we... More
