We were very keen to visit this church as it was unaffected/ devastated as a result of World War 2, unlike nearly all the other churches the city. However, despite 3 separate visit over the time we were in Gdansk it was never open.

Really beautiful church with an amazing view. But be prepared for walking a lot of stairs! Whole 409 stairs to be exact. But it is worth it, you can see over whole Gdansk from there ☺

It's nice to visit churches. Always calm and quiet. You can think and see yourself. Beautiful building and in good condition.

I stopped by this church on my visit to Gdansk earlier this week. This church is the most original of those in Gdansk, and I would wager the most beautiful. Be sure to see it!

I went in then turned around. It was so commercial. It was pretty but really nothing special enough to fight the crowds.

For me, St Nicks outclassed the BASILICA OF ST. MARY. As soon as you walk in, it's awe inspiring. Beautiful architecture. Serenely beautiful!

No, the only obstacle is that is not very wise to go inside during a holy mass unless you came to pray.
