Very beautiful church, one of the oldest in Gdansk, escaped WWII bombings as for Russians St.Nicholas is highly regarded in the Orthodox tradition. Very richly decorated, black-and-gold altars. Free to visit.

Worth visiting and looking round as you check out the city centre. Time to get away from the crowds and have some refelction time on the restoratiob after WW2.

Only church in Gdansk that was not destroyed during the war as it is named after patron saint of Russia. Descriptions of the many altars are in English.

This is apparently the largest brick built church in the world. Well worth a visit. (Its a stop off point on the free walkative tour). Dissapointingly it is (April2018) under refurbishment so we did not see it in all its glory. However it is still...More

A gorgeous church with beautiful altars and sculptures - the only church left untouched during 2nd WW it holds so much history - you cannot miss it! Make sure you check out the organs!

No, the only obstacle is that is not very wise to go inside during a holy mass unless you came to pray.
