This is the mile you must walk. Beautiful restaurants, cool shops. Good amber places and great food.

This street is also known as amber street given the number of shops which sell amber in various forms.. We bought some lovely small stained glass angels as there were other very nice shops with a high design quality to their gds.

The street has numerous fine cafes and quite a few amber jewelley shops. A great place for both or just to do window shopping.

Amber in all forms and shapes, clothes, jewelry, toys, oldest house in Gdansk (built in 1451, I believe). Go there! :-)

if you like amber, and you're willing to take a piece of authentic gdansk amber home, this is the place you want to visit. certain pieces are unique, and they have prices lower than anywhere else in gdansk, and they're certified authentic

Lovely street with a lot of amber shops. See it at night from the river with the cathedral in the distance

This my third visit to Gdansk and on each visit I have enjoyed window shopping at Mariacka St. And yes I have purchased amber jewellery here. Shop owners are very helpful.

Quite the unique place with an old world charm. Amber jewellery and local art in shops with glass covered stalls outside. Feels ancient and strangely romantic.

Lovely little street with the amazing church at one end near the oldest house in Gdansk. Now an area to purchase items made from Amber with little shops on either side. Well worth a stroll through here

I lived in the Old Town for few years. In the summer you can expect some moderate noises at night. Although, there are no pubs, just few cafes, people tend to walk there until late in the night. In the winter it's a calm... More
