One of the most popular places in Gdansk which you can't miss is the Old town. However, I would say that is was quite touristy and surprisingly apart from the local cafes and tea rooms, you cant really sea much Polish restaurants?! There is a big variety of fast food places and restaurants, but is that the real spirit of... More

The Old Town painstakingly restored to it's French and Dutch influence after it's complete destruction by the Germans in World War 2 . Lots of outdoor and indoor cafe's and bars . One street dedicated to the sale of glass and amber , where there are bargains to be had .

The old town of Gdansk is beautifully restord after the last war. The streets are filled with restaurants and small shops. What is not good are all the people that adress you to go and eat or drink at their places.
