The central square of the City of Brno, where shops and historical attractions are in a close walking distance.

Very nice and dignified square in the heart of Brno, main city of Moravia. Beautiful houses look like transferred from Vienna.

Park your car and you are close to everwhere. So convenient and handy. Actually during that day we covered most of the city on the foot. Spilberk, churches, restuarants, shopping street with no cars allowed. Just wonderful

It is definitely the most frequent square in Brno, that is located in the center. Therefore wherever you want to go, it is great start point where to meet with the friends. Another reason why the location is so great, is the fact it is near the main (railway) station (5min walk) from where you can sit in tram /... More

This square is the heart of the city. In December it hosts an xmas fair. It offers a nice selection of shops, pubs, restaurants etc.

If you can go only to one place in Brno, this is a must. There is always something happening there. Markets, concerts, political rallies. In the summer the restaurants have outdoor seating. none of them offer anything special besides people watching. There are no interesting stores in the buildings surrounding the square, a music store, grocery, jewellery, etc. I like... More

We are in Brno right now and we thoroughly enjoyed the weekend walking around Namesti Svobody. The wine and food booths were busy, but we had no trouble getting served. We found the prices quite reasonable. Everyone was polite and friendly. Another reviewer reports everyone was drunk, but we did not find that the case at all. A few college... More

A nice square in the center of Brno, a lot of nice shops and cafe's/restaurants around this square. On the weekend that we visited there was a market on this square where they were selling alcohol. Too bad, because from 7pm everyone on the square was drunk and causing fights and arguments. I dont know if this market is there... More
