We were part of a 4 hour food tour with Eva as the guide, she is brilliant! We enjoyed every minute with her, she is very friendly and gives great historical information about Prague as you walk from place to place. We visited 6 different food places and sampled some lovely traditional food, which Eva explained all about. Each food... More

We had a great time on our tour. Ewa was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable both about the food and the city. She was very patient with my two children and answered all their questions. We saw interesting parts of Prague we would otherwise have missed, and the food was wonderful. We all loved different parts the most, but it was... More

Eva was amazing and this is our second Food Tour with this company. First was in London. I would recommend 100%. It provides a combo food tour and fun history tour. We had amazing food at interesting places you would not find on your own. My suggestion is do the tour early in your trip in case you want to... More

We did this tour having done the Eating Italy Tour in 2015. We were certainly not disappointed. This tour is true value for money. You are not only served beautiful food but also receive a fantastic walking tour of beautiful Prague. You finish the tour having tasted great food and enough of it, received great information and the pace of... More

Hello Michelle, we are happy that you enjoyed our tour! We hope to host you again, either in Prague, or on our tours in London, Amsterdam, Florence or some of the Rome tours. Your guide's name was Eva - we are very lucky to have her, her knowledge of Prague history and historic trivia is unmatched and I'm not sure... More

You get more than your money’s worth on this one. Neal is wonderful, knowledgeable and funny. It is a great mix of food, traditions and culture. The food was amazing especially the soup at a restaurant in a medieval tower, can't get better than that. We saw and experienced tastes and sites other tours did not offer. The pace of... More

We took this tour on the recommendation of my brother in law and wife with their rave reviews of their tour with Eva and were over the moon that we did! We met our guide in a picture postcard gingerbread shop, to our delight our guide was a fellow Scot called Neil (who I think was quite chuffed to hear... More

I gave the tour 4 star only because of the fact that the food, in my experience, wasn't the main issue. As a vegetarian, the options in the Czech cuisine aren't very much, and when booking the tour I was also warned by it (I'm a vegetarian, my partner is not) but chose to book the tour anyway because we... Thank you for joining us on the Eating Prague food tour. While typical Czech cuisine tends to be meat heavy, we never stop searching for comparably delicious and satisfying meat-free replacements. As we host vegetarian guests on almost every tour and didn't get such reaction yet, we would really appreciate if you could reach out to us by e-mail (... More

Our tour guide Neil was great and very involved with us. Very interactive. He was was interested in what we wanted to hear about. We walked to a half dozen places and tasted a good variety of dishes with explanation of each and ended at a very nice restaurant for final. He never rushed us and went at a pace... More

This is a walking tour of the city on which you stop in at numerous places to sample Czech cuisine. We met our guide, Jan, at a gingerbread store. The tour included some rather different but delicious sandwiches and cured meats and cheeses at the first stop. From there to a redone historical church building where we tasted a local... More

Just got back from 3 days in Prague. This tour was recommended by a friend's brother and sister-in-law. It was fabulous. Eva was enthusiastic about both food and her city. It's a great way to learn about the city (she stopped along the walk to talk about the history of certain landmarks and areas) and about the local culture through... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
