This brasserie is located near the Strakhov Monastery and is famous for its delicious beer. Therefore, after visiting the monastery, we came here. The place is tourist and we had to wait about 20 minutes outside to wait for our turn and get inside. So we drank the beer outside first. We sat on the second floor. The interior is ordinary, with reproductions of old advertising posters with beer. Served quickly enough. We took soup, goulash, everything turned out to be very tasty. But the most important thing here is great beer. Definitely worth a visit.

This is from a family trip my wife, and at the time, two year old son and I took in June 2019. We heard about this brewery from a local and decided to check it out. The beer was just as good as the grounds of the monastery! From an American point of view, it was unique to see a list of IPA’s and black lagers on the menu rather than just Pilsners and gold lagers. All beers were delicious and I highly recommend you stop by if you are in the area!

We ordered just a starter and a soup, but portions were big and we came out full. Grilled good goose-pork meat sausage without too much fat, very tender and tasty. The onion soup was nice too. Very good beers.

Food is fantastic, and there is a great selection of beers - you could happily spend an afternoon there. Indoor and outdoor seating. It is a little more expensive than the surrounding bars and restaurants - but i suppose you're paying for the setting.

I told our guide I wanted a decent malty beer. We were enjoying the view and enjoying a decent brew. It didn't get better. A must stop in Prague
