It used to be a way to express opposition to the regime and send messages of peace and love to the world. Now it's a colourful wall swiftly changing its appearance. People always add to it but you probably would be able find some tributes...More

Yes John Lennon didn't visit that wasn't the point it's about what he tried in his latter years to represent love and peace. The wall represents freedoms that have sometimes over the years been repressed.Sadly some parts of the city are spoilt by Graffiti but...More

We read about the wall on the way to see it. It is an historic piece of art with many good quotes and a few naughty words! The was a guy singing and playing guitar which added to the experience. Worth a visit.

I love the history behind the wall. Read up about it. But the truth is Lennon never visited and in the end it’s just a painted wall. To reach it cross Charles Bridge headed towards New Town. Take the first street on your left after...More

The history about this wall is actually quite fascinating. I like the concept behind it. As anyone and everyone are encouraged to write on it, the graffiti changes all the time. Some for the better, and sadly at times for the worse. Thankfully, during our...More

The neighborhood is pretty good and beautiful. The Lennon wall is definitely overrated, full of random graffiti and not art.

We walked around Prague and intended to find this wall. It was just a wall, but the history of it - dedicated to John Lennon as pacifist lead us to want to see it. We took photos our ourselves here which turned out cool because...More

We took a stroll over Charles Bridge to see whether we could find the wall. We found it, it was tucked away below some steps off the bridge. You could smell the fresh graffiti paint so I was surprised to see lots of tourists leaning...More

If you don’t know the story of this wall, google it before you see it. It is an amazing piece of history, and a big part of the story of Czech freedom. The artworks themselves are not amazing, mostly tags and other crap, but they...More

Worth seeing? Yes, but only if you are in the area to see and do other stuff as well. Otherwise, you will make a long trek and be disappointed by the hordes of self stick posers standing against the piece of wall taking a zillion...More

Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most
beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled
underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the
Kings route taken by future kings on their way to
coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing
Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral.
Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque
medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch

Go down the steps from the Charles bridge to Kampa Island, walk through the small square and take the second street on your right. Or go all the way until you see Hotel Kampa Garden on your right, continue going right past... More
