Bar was cool and crowded and time spent there was enjoyable. Would come back for more drinks. Mid floor - club, could be pretty dope with right music. Not sure if it was just this night but underground had pretty bad acoustics. When you stand in the back of a crowd you can't really see anything for the arch on... More

Absolutely one of the best bar/club in Prague! I was with a friend of mine and we would like to attend 'July Talk' concert on Friday 17th! It was sold out! One of the guy told us to wait jut in case someone's not coming! We did it! It was really kind of him! This in the lower ground floor,... More

My boyfriend and I where a part of a pub crawl. The second bar we went to was Chapeau Rouge. The place was packed and it seemed like a cool spot. The drink was really cheap, cheapest in the city. My boyfriend was having a laugh and was messing with a bunting on the wall. Two minutes later two bouncers... More

We had a great night in Chapeau Rouge! There is a club downstairs on the lower floor which has a dj booth and dance floor. We were there on a 'bass' night which was so much fun with a great atmosphere. It seemed to be quite popular with the locals too.

If you're looking for something a little more low key and not quite as "tourist-y", then come here. It's not far off the main square and everyone is very friendly there. Drinks are good, people are nice, fun environment...everything you would look for in a small bar!

This bar/club is very cool : the main floor is a crowded bar, very cozy and enjoyable. The lower floor is a club (when we went we had some pop, latino...), and the if you go even further down it is another club room (electro music, though we didn't go because there was a small entrance fee of 2€ and... I visited this with my friends. The venue looks nice and the place is cozy but I am not satisfied with the service. This bald guy with his english accent was being so gross because when I paid my drinks I handed him 2 times 20 czk and 1 of 50 and then 10 czk in silver coins. He began... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
