It is clear that these shows in Prague are made for tourist and there’s a lot more authentic stuff to see out of there, but the Black light was an old wish for us, and we wanted to live the experience once there, but this choice was wrong: the theater is very small and the show is blatantly overbooked, they... We had been told that Black Light Theatre was a "must see" whilst in Prague and the Tourist information office told us that this was the best of those available in the city. The small theatre was only about half full although it was January and a very cold night! The first half we found to be "hammy" and not... More

That was really great experience to watch The Aspects of Alice but also to "feel" this show in the Black Theatre. I think it was also a good idea to reveal at the end those secrets you are gathered during the spectacle! :)

Black light theater is a very unique attraction that is part of Prague cultural life, this is an absolute must to attend. I loved the intimacy of the place I would improve the quality of buffet, currently it doesn't offer much apart from few snacks and cold drinks

It was packed at the 6pm show. The cast are good and the effects are really impressive. Get there well early though as we arrived 5 minutes before the start and had the last two seats right at the front which was not so good as you could see some of the effects

While conceptually it was interesting as it essentially created the show out of laser lighting on florescent costumes, something we see a lot on dance shows these days in India, the script was pretty childish. The atmosphere was quaint, 80-90 people in a small theatre. Seats don't have numbers so its first come first serve. Not a performance I would... More

It was a nice experience. The second part was much more interesting than the first. The synchronization of all actors was impressive.

Went there after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. Booked in advance. Come early, since the tickets don't have seats. The place is not big and was't fully booked. The show was very good, nicely done with color and imagination. Don't think too much, just come and enjoy! Don't know about other theaters, but I would definitely recommend this... More

The theatre occupies approximately 90 people and was not fully booked when we attended. The show was ok, but I could see the background individuals on many of their acts. It was interesting since we have not been to a black light show; however, it would not be a performance that I would return to. I applaud the actors for... More

We were looking forward to the show. It was just ok wasn't Oscar winning performance. In some parts I just didn't get it.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
