Neighbourhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great show, very cute and well performed with just enough room for audience participation to keep an interactive and spontaneous setup that I missed in other blacklight theatres in Prague. The scenes we're well prepared and smoothly executed. We'll surely be back here¡

I first saw this theater company while living in Singapore in 1986 at the Singapore Arts Festival.... it was magical then... And it still is.
While the Black Light Theater Srnec was the very first black light theater many others have since popped up... but if you must choose just one to see while in Prague you should see three one that started it all.
Pure magic!

We were really looking forward to the show but on arrival we’re told that sinew of the performers had Covid so the show was cancelled

Fantastic show carried out in a small intimate theatre. Brilliant lighting, colourful performance and well worth a visit.

This was our best experience in Prague. We all enjoyed it very much, including my 10 y/o who wanted to see another such show.
I really liked the fact that the effects were part of the story, and weren't forced. It was funny, beautiful, amazing, we had the best time.
If you need to chose one, that was certainly the best (and we did many things).

I was disappointed with my visit here. Firstly it was quite tricky to find. Not many locals knew where it was. The venue is small, but plenty of seating. There was not much "black light theatre" in the show. There was "comedy" which some of the audience got, and some including me did not. There is an interval. There is 2 toilets, one female, one male.

This was a very pleasant and well done show full of imagination and loughs! It's non-verbal, so accessible to all nationalities and ages. It is not often abroad that we can appreciate theater! It was for us a great opportunity to see another aspect of czech culture and to spend an evening differently on holidays.

I dragged 5 hesitant 30 yearish old lads along to this and by the end of the first act they all loved it! A really good laugh and something I have never seen before. My favourite had to be 'The Horse.'
This is not a super formal or a high tech expensive theatre show. Head along in jeans and have fun! It is thoroughly entertaining for those who enjoy alternative entertainment and there is some adult humour.
We sat at the very back and could see clearly (it's a small room). We had the pleasure or speaking to Jiri Srnec at the end who writes all the music. He is a wonderful, imaginative man. Talk to him if you get the chance!

Wow! Absolutely astonished by tonight's performance! The actors were amazing and delivered an outstanding performance! Will definitely try to come back for another show! Very professional and eye catching! Well done to the performers and their director! You were all brilliant!

My partner and I attended this show during our visit in December. I enjoyed the show very much, I found it quirky and different. My partner however wasn't too fussed.
If you do choose to see this show I would get down a little earlier than the start time to ensure a seat with your party members. Those who turn up late might end up sitting apart as the venue is very small.

צריך להזמין כרטיסים מראש? או שאפשר במקום? ואם כן איך מזמינים?

Dear Tirat,
It is certainly better to book the tickets prior to your visit as on many days the shows sell out during the days leading up to the show. You can either book via our website or use TripAdvisor's booking service.
We are looking forward to your visit.
Kind regards,
BLTS
אנחנו מבקשים לצפות במופע בתאריך 8.5.18. האם יש מספר אופציות באותו יום? מה המופע המועדף (למבוגרים)? ובאיזה תיאטרון?
תודה.ענת

Hi Lallighedda, thank you for choosing our theatre - the first black light theatre in the world.
As a general rule, making the reservation one to two weeks before the chosen date should suffice for individuals or smaller groups. For larger groups, a booking at least one month prior to the date is recommended.
Our theatre has a free seating policy, that is, you choose your seats yourself. The theatre opens 30 minutes before the show so there is enough time for everybody to pick the best seat if you make sure you arrive early enough.
Enjoy your trip to Prague!
