The Army Museum is currently closed for an expected 4 year renovation. Unfortunately we discovered this only after a 6km walk to visit the museum. It would be helpful if TripAdvisor indicated this on their website entry instead on the supposed opening hours.

This museum is free! Yes it is a little bit away from the centre of Prague but is definitely worth the trip. However when we visited one floor was closed off with no explanation. What we did see was an excellent presentation of First World...More

Somewhat difficult to get to, though close to main train station. In terms of military memorabilia, one of the most complete assortment outside of the Smithsonian. I was simply amazed at the quality of items. I would recommend to anyone.

This museum is for anyone with a remote interest in military related stuff. They show shells, ammos, guns, tanks, cannons. I did not know an 88 shell was that big until I saw it. You spend around 2-3 hours here. The lighting is quite dim...More

I am not a fan of fighting or wars but I visited the museum in order to see, if there is anything connected to airplanes. I was shocked how nice the museum is (inside). Very carefully prepared, separated into several time periods. Must be really...More
